  • Property: We will meet at your property to discuss important factors such as drainage control, well and septic tank placement, and the ideal location for the house. If your land is not already cleared for your project, we also specialize in site clearing and prep.
  • Financing: You need to secure a construction loan, which differs from a home purchase loan, and then convert it to a mortgage upon completing the build.
  • Contract: We meticulously review your plans and specific details to ensure that your design choices are included and that they align with budget constraints. No need to worry about permits, we handle all necessary permits. We are committed to making our collaboration the best experience you will ever have.
  • Construction: Our owner and contractor, Eric Rogers, will be hands-on throughout the entire home construction process. He is committed to keeping you involved and updated through each phase. This will include regular phone calls, site tours, and progress photos to keep you in the loop as your new home comes to life.

  1. Prepare the Lot and Build the Foundation:
    • Clear the land, level it, and prepare the foundation area.
    • Pour the concrete foundation or construct the foundation walls.
    • Ensure proper drainage and waterproofing.
  2. Build Framing and Install Windows and Doors:
    • Construct the wooden or steel framing for the walls, floors, and roof.
    • Install windows and exterior doors. This step forms the basic structure of the house.
  3. Install Roofing and Siding:
    • Add roofing materials (shingles, metal, etc.) to protect against weather.
    • Install siding (such as vinyl, wood, or brick) to cover the exterior walls.
  4. Install Rough Plumbing and Electrical:
    • Rough-in plumbing lines (water supply, drainage, and gas lines).
    • Rough-in electrical wiring (outlets, switches, and lighting).
  5. Install Insulation and Drywall:
    • Add insulation to walls, ceilings, and floors for energy efficiency.
    • Install drywall (also known as sheetrock or plasterboard) to create interior walls.
  6. Complete Painting:
    • Paint the interior walls, ceilings, and trim. Choose colors that match your desired aesthetic.
  7. Install Cabinets, Counters, and Vanities:
    • Install kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, and built-in storage.
    • Add countertops (granite, quartz, etc.) to kitchen and bathroom surfaces.
  8. Finish Electrical and Plumbing:
    • Install light fixtures, switches, and outlets.
    • Connect plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers).
  9. Install Flooring:
    • Choose and install flooring materials (hardwood, tile, carpet, etc.) throughout the house.
  10. Connect to Water and Sewer Systems:
    • Hook up to the municipal water supply and sewer system.
    • Ensure proper connections for water usage and waste disposal.
  11. Landscaping:
    • Final grade of yard to ensure proper drainage.
    • Sod, flower beds, mulch.
  12. Move-In!:
    • Once everything is complete, you’re ready to move into your new home!
